Here's other projects I've done:

Permission to Embalm
is a short documentary about the inside workings of a funeral home.  It was a collaborative project done by myself and Kenneth Chou, who also contributed to Dark Arts in a Long, Plastic Hallway by shooting some amazing still photos ... including the ones used in this website.

Alien Outs is a compilation of trims from Alien Soundscape, a documentary I made in 1990 about the Newfoundland Sound Symposium.  It shows how much motion picture technology has changed since the days of recording sound double-system on Nagra tape decks.

Classic Movies Mashup was part of an advertising campaign to promote a classic movie channel on a pay tv network.  I chopped up short bits of dialog from dozens of favorite movies to create a new set of phrases to describe the channel.  The archivist I worked with must have pulled over a hundred titles to get the material we needed.  Then a very patient and talented graphic artist hid logos in each extremely short shot, creating a "where's waldo" visual puzzle which bears repeated viewing.  See if you can find them all.

Safe, Secure Comfort is a collage of archival footage which expresses the uncertainty and insecurity of the Cold War era.  It was produced as part of Ryerson University's MFA in Documentary Media.
